Our vision at the YMCA of Greater Flint is to make Y memberships available to everyone in our community. A membership at the Y improves the wellness of the whole person, body, mind, and spirit, in a welcoming environment that provides quality equipment, programs, and service. The YMCA of Greater Flint serves people and families of all ages, income levels, and physical conditions.


The Michigan Handball Association (MHA) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is "to promote growth of the sport of handball in the state of Michigan." This includes helping one another play, master, and most importantly enjoy the game of handball while encouraging more men, women, and especially children to play as well as showcasing the sport and promoting events such as leagues and tournaments. Participation is the best way to contribute, so don't miss out. 

Disc Golf


Learn all about disc golf in Flint. Ranked as the 37th best disc golf destination in Michigan, Flint has 2 courses. Among these are 2 courses which have 18 or more holes. Flint is also home to 1 store that sells disc golf gear. Explore the surrounding area to find 116 courses, 75 leagues, and 25 stores.

Boys and Girls Club


Since 2004, we have never taken a single approach to help kids succeed. It takes caring mentors, such as our trained Club staff. It takes a safe place, like our Clubs that are consistently there for the kids we serve. It takes innovative quality programs designed to empower youth to excel in school and lead healthy, productive lives. To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Lapeer Rec

The City of Lapeer Community Center is intended to serve Lapeer area residents of all ages with recreational, social, cultural, fitness and educational opportunities year round. Through its facilities and programs, the Community Center will enhance the quality of life in the community. The Community Center offers a wide-range of activities for youth, adults and seniors. The 55,000 square foot facility sits on 6.9 acres opened in 1995 and features an indoor six lane competition/leisure swimming pool with a water slide and zero entry, gymnasium with seven baskets, weight/fitness equipment (new in 2013), meeting/group fitness rooms, track, two racquetball courts, child care area, cycling studio, locker room facilities, and the Park & Recreation department administrative offices.  Outside features a spray park in the courtyard outside the pool, two basketball courts, and two sand volleyball courts. There are four ways to fun and fitness 1) Annual Passes, 2) Single Visit Passes, 3) Classes & Programs, 4) Facility Rental. The center is open seven days a week, come visit today! 

Richfield Bowl

Bowling Is America’s #1 Participation Activity with over 70 million people bowling each year. Richfield Bowl is dedicated to providing the BEST ENTERTAINMENT VALUE in Flint. Our modern bowling center has kid friendly bumper bowling lanes available too. We also have plenty of lightweight bowling balls and small shoes for kids.

Whether you’re looking just to bowl a couple games by yourself, an outing with friends and family or you want to join a bowling league, Richfield Bowl is the place to be. 

Burston Fieldhouse

Currently, patrons can participate in sports, a variety of dance classes which includes senior line dance classes, arts and crafts, and even chess. Plans are in place to house a success center within the field house where patrons in need of honing their literacy skills can come for assistance. Friends of Berston truly intends to carry on the tradition of Berston Field House for all its patrons.
